Welcome to Flourish Day Nursery Esher
After opening our first day nursery, Flourish Colliers Wood, in 2019 we knew we wanted to be able to open another nursery and be part of more children’s early care and education. With a young family ourselves, we know only too well the importance of the first five years and the pivotal role nurseries play in family life.
Our first nursery was inspected by Ofsted in 2021 and we were thrilled that Ofsted observed how “children’s personal, social and emotional development is central to the ethos”. We will be bringing the same approach to our new nursery in Esher, which can welcome up to 55 children each day, and we work on the basis of “children first”. Our team at Esher support children with their emotional intelligence and help children with their early understanding and expression of their emotions.
When you visit the nursery in Esher you’ll notice the beautiful rooms with plenty of natural light and space for the children to explore and play. We use a wide range of resources, many of which are natural; providing the children with opportunities to explore the world using authentic resources instead of a world of plastic.
Outdoor play features highly as well; we are conveniently located near Esher High Street and Esher Common and will be exploring the natural world regularly with the children. From trips to the local shops to forest exploration activities on the common, the children at Flourish will be learning so much from their local environment.
